Well almost true. If anyone wants your car bad enough they will take it. and there is no standard for the auto companies to meet. But in the last 10 years, the companies have been hardening their systems enough to stop low level fruits like the video.

The problem is simple, if you have enough knowledge to make the video attacks work, and wanted to so something evil, the local atm is your victim.

Stealing a kia is not a high priority for most people that can do it. So you are left with some serous hackers, they will take want they want and there is not much anyone can do about it. Remember all major computer companies have been hacked. Security companies get hacked. If they want to, they will.
