Hello...
I'm looking at purchasing a used Telluride.
The main ones that I'm looking at are 2020-2021 with 90000-125000 miles.
I'm wanting an SX, for the 360 camera.
I've read reports about weak windshields, oil consumption, etc...
Is there anything that I need to watch for and are there any concerns with running another 100000 miles?
My 2004 Acura MDX just bit the bullet, but has well over 200000 miles on it.
Thanks...
JJ

I have had problems with oil consumption and a hard knock during acceleration. The knock has been with us since the 30K mark and oil consumption at least since 45K. We're at 58,000 and the motor is undergoing an oil test to see if it's eating itself. I wouldn't buy a used Telly without an oil test from Blackstone to see if there's metal in it. We might just be unlucky, but if you talk to indie mechanics rather than Kia service departments, suddenly you hear very different stories of engines expiring very early with all of the same problems and it's not just the 4 cylinder models with the problems.

I appreciate the information.
I've been watching some mechanic videos and I figured that keeping an eye on the oil level and changing it more often than 7500 would be beneficial.
Of course, it may be hard to know how the previous owner(s) took care of it.
At that mileage, I figure a carbon cleaning and checking out the timing chains would be in order.
