Tire/Wheel Problem

I took a turn too tight and curbed the right front tire and scratched the wheel. The tire didn’t puncture but there was significant road noise since then.
I bought brand new tires and got a new wheel, but the noise is still there, especially once the speed gets to 55+. It sounds like a dull airplane.
I haven’t balanced the tires yet and the mechanics say everything looks fine. But it doesn’t sound great.
Any idea what else it could be?

If you hit the curb hard enough it could possibly be that that wheel bearing suffered also.

If you got 4 new tires installed, they all were balanced. How’s the alignment?
