Comparing retail to retail price, the Thule is not that much more expensive. The only piece you'll have to pay retail for the Thule would be the Fit Kit. The bars and feet can be found discounted.

Also, according to the Telluride owners manual (4-172), the roof rack can support up to 220 lbs max (evenly distributed). The WingBar Evo 150 is also rated for a maximum load of 220 lbs (evenly distributed) on their website. https://www.thule.com/en-us/roof-ra...nd-accessories/thule-wingbar-evo-150-_-711520

The factory cross bars are rated for 160 lbs.
Hey So How much is this complete set up? Seems just the Flush railing kit alone are like $120 https://www.thule.com/en-us/roof-rack/fit-kits/kit-4113-flush-railing-_-184113 and i'm trying to figure out which cross bars you have there...

I got the black Evo WingBar. Go into the roof rack configurator and set it up for the Kia Telluride flush rails. See the total price below for each option.

Then Click on "Read More" for the rack you are interested in and then add it to the cart. Go to the cart to see the exact components needed. You basically need a set of Cross Bars, 2 sets of "Feet/Towers" and then 2 sets of the fit Kit. Lock are an additional $59.

I ordered the same setup this weekend on BackCountry, they have an early Black Friday sale and both the WingBar Evo and Podium feet for $175 ea., but like jazzyone said looks like you can only get the fit Kit for now through Thule, I know it's listed on amazon with a 1 - 3 month wait and Moosejaw says it's special order and can't provide any delivery info, but Thule shipping is pretty quick I ordered late last night and probably be here this weekend.

Also, Thule has free shipping for orders over $99 (I think) that is going to expire soon. The most important component is the fit kit and only Thule.con has it currently.

All other components are “standard” and may be available at a lower price if you search as @Baz posted.

That's a good price, I got mine for about that much...

Holy Cow they are $559 for one bar and the fitment kit? So that over a Grand for racks? Not for me.. For a few hundred for set of two would be reasonable...
🤔.. I don't think you read the description right... It's $559 for a whole rack set that includes a pair (2) of bars, 2 sets (4) of feet, and 2 sets (4) of fitment kits..

Nice. How's the wind noise at highway speeds? Any noticeable difference?

It's difficult to say but I don't really notice anything annoying, such as whistling, since it is designed to be aerodynamic. I would imagine that will change once I mount things on the rack.

REI has the wing bars also at a discount right now $175.89 but without the mounting brackets what good is it? https://www.rei.com/product/151997/thule-wingbar-evo-load-bars-pair
Have to order from Thule anyway...
Cause you can save about $100.00. Order the fit kit from Thule since they are the only ones that stock it current. The other components are generic and used on many vehicles. Order the crossbars, feet and lock from retailers that are selling them at a discount.

Looking at REI right now you’ll be able to save 20% on everything you need minus the fit kit. That’s about a $100 discount. As I said before, order the fit kit KT4113 from Thule direct, shipping should still be free.

I actually just picked the car up today, when I have some free time I plan on giving it a try, meant to ask how difficult it was since haven't put cross bars on before, or owned a car with them.

Nice, congratulations! What did you get?

I installed the crossbars to accommodate a Yakima cargo box. The hardest part was to position both bars evenly, not cockeyed, and to ensure the lift gate clears the rear of the cargo box.

Whatever accessories/load (cargo box, basket, bicycle, etc) you intend to mount on your crossbar, you have to make sure it doesn’t interfere with the rear hatch.

I opened the lift gate and used the spoiler to evenly measure off the distance to the rear bar feet (distance: clearance to the rear of the box + box crossbar mounting clamp)

It’s easier to install the front feet once the rear ones are installed. Use the rear feet to evenly measure off the distance to the front feet. I think the manual said 24” minimum. I ended spacing it 30” apart. Just make sure it doesn’t interfere with the sunroof since it opens to the outside.
