Hi All. We've had our Telluride S FWD a few months. Love it so far.
Twice now we had an issue with it not fully starting. Press start/stop and the vehicle tries to start, makes some gurgling sounds, and the vehicle shakes a bit. Immediately press the start/stop button again to try and kill the engine, and it tries to start again making a horrific grinding noise. Press it again, and it shuts off. Wait a few minutes, and it starts just fine. No warning lights. Nothing seems off...
We reached out to our salesmen who obviously said to just bring it in, but since it's not easy to replicate, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Starter? Fuel pump? Electrics? Any ideas?
Both times this has happened the vehicle was driven for about 30 minutes within an hour prior. And it's garaged. Break pedal was fully depressed, and the button fully pushed (not a light / half push).
Thanks in advance!
