Rough Idle - Engine Light Sensor ON

I started up my 2022 Kia Telluride thia afternoon after it sat all weekend long to a very rough idle & engine light coming on. I drove it around the block as it felt as though it was about to stall so I returned to my house. After checking the oil and opening the hood - I started the vehile back up to a smooth idle and no light on. It's very strange but I am still wondering what the root cause might be? Any Thoughts?

Our '22 has started doing this as well. It has happened twice in the last 30 days. We also hear sloshing in the fuel tank (?). I wonder if water hasn't gotten in there somehow.
Symptoms:
Crank car cold, very rough start, weird bad smell in exhaust, check engine light. Shut off car, restart, fine.
