I'm sure it will take a while before aftermarkets are available. It took them about a year and a half to get the Stinger available. I will ask though and see what they say, it can't hurt to ask.

My brothers new bmw he got less than a year ago did the same. App only. I wonder how many automakers are doing this now.
It’s also available on the Honda Pilot. Their key fob can remotely start the truck, turns on the heated seat and heat for the cabin. You can also use the same key fob to roll down all the windows and moon roof during summer.

Ok, so you need the RSA-HK12. Is that all or is this an additional device for use with the HCX000A. I have seen the HCX000A on Amazon, but no mention of RSA-HK12.
Has anyone here installed one of these on a Telluride?

I think most owners are still using the app for remote start.

For the idatastart HCX000A (Includes CMHCXA0 control module and ADS-AHR-HCX analog harness kit) hardware is needed with RSA-HK12 being the firmware. See the install guide below.

Sounds like Kia cheaped out on this feature. I can pay $250 for a real nice aftermarket remote start...and I don't have to pay monthly fees.
I'M ABOUT TO THE SAME THING AND GET A REMOTE START ... HALF THE TIME THE APP DOESN'T EVEN START THE CAR! AND TAKES 2 MINUTES AND TONS OF BUTTON PUSHES... REALLY KIA ? A KEY FOB WOULD HAVE DONE THE JOB HERE... AND I'M NOT PAYING $20 A MONTH FOR THIS... F'ING RIDICULOUS

Here's a question... And i will ask the tech guys at Idatalink... Do you think this controller may override the app from starting the car now? Because it is nice to have the app still work and set AC controls and such...
