What do you mean papers?

If you are talking tags, that’ll depend on what state you reside. Typically you can transfer your tags or get temp tag that lasts 30-60 or more days while you wait for your permanent tags. This is all taken care of a the dealership. It you buy out if state the dealer will still get you temporary tags but you’ll have to register it at in home state. Some times the out of state dealers can do this for you.
