Painting front grille?

I want to black out/paint the front grille of my 2021 Telluride EX. Anyone done this or have experience with this? I'm looking for a step-by-step for removing the grille to paint it. Also, any particular products you like that have a nice finish and great durability?
Searched for this in the forums but got no results.
