I was wondering if anyone had tried using Valvoline ‘Protect and Restore’ to resolve their oil consumption issues. We have driven into this new territory with the awful surprise that many of us seem to do. Not in the least bit happy about what new regulations have seemingly forced upon us and can’t really blame the manufacturer as so many are suffering the same, so looking to remedy as best I can. One solution seems to be to use Protect and Restore and switch to higher tier fuels that have. Better cleaning additives included. I have seen others perform the Berryman Chemtool B12 solution procedure, which does work, but I’m not sure we have reached that level of oil loss (yet) where I need todo this?
