I am a 2022 Telluride owner and was surprised to learn that the Telluride requires such a large quantity of oil. 6.9 quarts if I recall correctly.
Oil change specials are all based on up to 5 quarts, so the last oil change (AAA Auto Care) that I got ran $80 despite a $50 coupon.
Are there any oil change places that do not upcharge for the extra quarts needed? Or is this an "incentive" to take the vehicle back to a dealership for oil changes?
Not averse to using a dealership for the oil change, but they seem to always charge extra for tire rotation.
Feeling kind of discriminated against by the oil change outlets here.
