Non power lift gate problems

We have the S model that does not have the power lift gate. Had the car a little less than a year. Just recently, the back hatch gets stuck and we can't open it. It unlocks but seems to be catching on something. We may get lucky every now and then and get it to open but it's become an annoyance, especially when we have a trunk full of stuff. We took it into the dealer earlier and of course, it opened. Has anyone else experienced this? We plan to take video to show the dealer if it happens again.

Same here! No idea what is the issue

My 2020 telluride is doing the same. 4th time to dealership and they promised that the next time there they will fix it this time. They’ve taken it apart and looked at wiring and the junction box. Apparently next time they’re replacing the actual latch - which I would think they should have done in the first place. Very frustrating!

We are having the same issue with our 2020 S model. Did you ever find a solution??

Our Telluride did this a few times a couple months ago then all of a sudden it started working again with no issue until a few days ago. Now it just won't do anything!

It's so frustrating as we have a 1 year old and 4 year old so needless to say out trunk space is like a 2nd home for everywhere we go.

Please let me know if you all found a resolution!!!
