Kia Telluride wheel lugnut size

Kia parts guy at my dealer said we can use M12 x 1.5 thread size for the Telluride. These should look much better with the black SX wheels.

Here’s the Amazon link. Very inexpensive, $20. Took approximately 30 min to swap out and torque to 85 lbs. I didn’t want or like the wheel locks so I left them off. These require included spline adapter to remove

Anytime. If you get them just insure they are threaded correctly. If it doesn’t screw right on by hand, then the lug nut thread may be defective. Contact the seller and they’ll send you replacements.

Thanks. I agree. I have no idea why Kia didn’t include black lugnuts.

I always prefer spline lug nuts as they are much easier to tighten and remove without damaging the wheel finish.

I just prefer the look over standard and because I was loosing the wheel locks the spline lug nut adds an extra level of protection. But in reality I’m not sure that wheel theft is a big issue where I live/work/travel to.

I am planning on getting an SX here in Canada that comes with the bright wheels and not black. I want to order this type of wheel nut lock that has the spinning outer case. From reading here I think I have the right size and cone seat. Please let me know if I am wrong.
