Kia Telluride Issues

My touchscreen goes crazy every once in a while. It jerks around and you can’t push any buttons on the screen to correct it. The next time it happens, I’ll take a video. It goes to the dealer on Monday... we will see what the say.
Sounds like an intermittent connector issue. Either the screen connector isn't seated properly to the control board or some debris is partially obscuring the contact. Hopefully it's a simple fix. Good luck !

EX Down noooo

Have an EX in the shop (300 miles) FCA warning light/ malfunction. No issue with un intended braking or anything . Short under front skid plate is causing error. Possible (worst case) solution, new wiring harness, best case they isolate the short and repair. Dealer and factory are trying to brainstorm a solution....disappointed, yup, but s happens and sometimes early adopters have issues. Dealer has been cool. This is their first Telluride in for a repair.
Update....a new wiring harness is required. Ok with that BUT...May 5th ETA from Georgia? Not happy told Kia corporate to expedite AND make my first car payment! They seemed receptive. to the payment at least....So I'm thinking the least the dealer could do is loan me a Stinger??

That's the least they can do, those Stingers are fast.

Just curious, at what mileage oil was changed?
first oil change at 1200 miles then another at 7500 and next at 15000. I am using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum as 5W30. This oil has served me well. used it in 07 sorento which still runs as solid as it did new at 337,000 miles currently and in 14 sorento which had 300,000 before it started having non engine issues ie CV joints & cat converter going bad. Didn't feen like sinking any money in it since I found my current Telly.

There is a software issue with the app. The app uses Pacific time (only) when using the schedule to remote start the telly. If you are not on Pacific time, you will need to adjust your start time to that time zone. For me that is 3 hours difference. Some really helpful people on this forum shed some light on this issue for me and now I love the schedule remote start featur. My car starts automatically in the mornings before work and just before I leave work in the afternoons M-F.
