I'm certainly no expert, but when those numbers are compared to the first 2 full months of the Subaru Ascent last summer, they are better. The Ascent's sales figures for July and August of 2018 were 8,824 compared to the Telluride's 10,650, that about a 21% increase. I'm not saying the Telluride is a better car (hopefully it will be just as reliable and safe as the Ascent seems to be so far), but I am saying that it seems to be more popular at a similar time in its roll-out.
