Thats what I heard too, all sales are reported by dealers so it can be very easily misleading

Agreed with the above replies. TrueCar is a dealers resource. Hence why you get spammed when you search there..

Fixed it for you. The do not report any decent deals to inflate the bogus average sale price. Caveat emptor!
