Headlight LED Upgrade

Had to take the bulbs back and swap with a different style. They had little output in pitch black driving

How this new style different?

The four sided bulbs had little output verified by myself and the owner of the business I bought them from. He exchanged them for a two sided traditional LED bulb. In the daylight we could tell the two sided bulbs had way brighter output.

They will accept the return. They told me they shipped two sets out yesterday. Just refuse the package when it gets to you

The new ones the shop gave me. Had to modify the back cover as these suckers run hot started to melt the retainer for the desecant so I removed the retainer as you can see in the pictures. Test run tonight when it gets dark.

Yes you can, just don't open it and take it to back to which carrier delivered.

Yes, same bulb. Housing has a shutter to control low and high beam

You have to buy the whole housing because it’s one unit

I believe he said he had to remove the retainers so they weren't touching the bulbs. The retainer pictured on the right side normally sits inside the cover.

were you able to close the cover after putting in the new led bulb. Do you think there will be a problem with heat?
