FRONT PARKING SENSOR

We have a 2023 Telluride Prestige . One of the front parking sensors got damaged , chipped. There guess is a rock hit it. I keep on getting the parking assist warning going off. Solution?

Yeah replace the sensor.

This is part of owning a modern vehicle. They have many many exterior cameras and sensors, all of which are susceptible to getting damaged. I doubt if any dealer of any kind of car would agree to pay to replace when the damage is not their fault. And these things, as you noted, are not cheap.
I spend almost all my time when driving on interstates trying to stay away from trucks and NOT get caught behind one of them. It is a challenge. Their tires are bigger and more space between tire grooves to collect rocks and spit them out.
I understand your frustration but have no solution for you.
