Dealer refused coupon for oil change

Drove up to Spokane,Wa.Had a sticker for oil service at 3500 miles,so I took it to George Gee in Liberty Lake,Wa.And the service refused it and wanted $70 for the service BS

Please be more specific. What type of coupon was it? Was it a national coupon? Dealer specific? Online print? Mailed?
