Interesting. I will call to have them send a check. Thinking I shouldn't have any issues, since I did sign up for the founders club at the beginning of the year before we even purchased ours. Thanks for this info!

That’s what I did For me I had to wait unti I made my first payment and send in proof.

I feel left out I didn't get selected to join the focus group lol.
I’m sorry. I know what it feels like to be the only kid left in the playground. I’m sure there were many factors involved in the selection process. A major one being proximity to Kia HQ. Their office is 10 min away from mine in Irvine.

The process was (is) very vague. Dealer seemed clueless. Finally figured out the path for submittal is through Kia Consumer Affairs. On track now and should see a check soon.

Same. I first had the dealer say the offer could be applied to as part of downpayment. That turned out not to be the case, had to go back and resign some papers to undo that. If I remember correctly, I think they said it should automatically not charge me for one month's car payment...but I remember paying the first month's payment and I never got a check. Going to call today or tomorrow to get the ball rolling on getting one. Will give updates when available.

Did ya'll request to be selected in the focus group or did they send you a letter asking of you would be interested?
I received an online survey several weeks ago (which I completed), followed by an email last week saying I was selected for the focus group. I’m sure one of the requirements was that you needed to be geographically close th Kia HQ

Just called Kia Consumer Assistance, who at first said they weren’t familiar with the offer. Once she spoke to her supervisor and confirmed it’s existence, she said I will have to reach out to my dealer, instead.

Called my dealer’s finance department, who also did not know of this offer. Left him some info, he said he will call me back as soon as he can.

Now the waiting game. Yay.

As I've mentioned before. You'll need to keep bugging Kia Consumer Affairs until you get someone that actually knows what they are doing.

The program is done through Kia and not through its dealers. Please keep in mind Kia Dealers are NOT Kia, some people don't seem to understand that dealers are private companies that just sell Kia cars. Call Kia Consumer Affairs and ask for Debbie, she's the one that helped me get it straightened out. Your dealer isn't going to know anything and will just keep pulling your strings.

I just called regarding the Founder's Club. I explained to him that I placed my deposit in March and was I told to receive stock before the end April. Which it took long due to demand.
He was very very apologetic. He offered to send me three years worth of oil changes and free Tire rotate and balance. So at least that's something and I will be looking for the coupon book in the mail soon.
Ha nice it seems like they give the out. I also got the premium package offered at first from one of the row but declined. Talked to another person and got my first month check - got it over a month ago. Called a few weeks ago about the premium maintenance package offer and they gave that to me too ! I am leasing so it’s probably in kias best interest for me to do regular maintenance

I've called Kia Consumer Assistance twice, and they both have directed me back to my local dealer, even after I stated that the rebate does not come from the dealer. Just got off the phone with them for the 2nd time, of which the woman seemed to be reading from instructions about the Telluride Founder's Club, still insisting that I need to contact my dealer.

Does anyone have a direct line of contact to someone who knows what they're talking about? Any help is appreciated!

My rep was Debbie. I called about 4 times. Debbie at first didn't know as she was the first call. The 4th time a week later was her again and she finally figured it out.
