Campaign for K&N and AEM Air Filters

I would like to propose to the forum that we start a campaign to get K&N to make an air filter for our Tellurides (which would also fit the Palisade and 15-18 Sedona & Sorento).

Have used K&N for years in my Tribute, Escape, Terrain and motorcycles - saves money in the long run and lets the vehicle breathe easier for a bit more giddy up and MPG.

Even if you don't think you'd be interested in one - please send an email to K&N encouraging them to make it for the Telluride to help out those of us that would like one.

Their answer to my most recent request is shown below. You will find their email address there. Yes, I did provide them the part number they requested.

Share this with others that would benefit from the availability (Palisade, Sedona and Sorento owners...)

I just got a reply, apparently they are already making Oil Filters.

K&N has a R&D vehicle borrow request page, although Telluride or Palisades isn't currently listed, probably anyone who can or willing to trek out to Riverside CA could submit at the top.

I reached out to K&N/AEM and got the response below a couple weeks ago.

Here is the info if anyone is in

I’m Bryan V and I work for K&N filters including AEM. We are looking to fit check our intake system on a 2020 2020 KIA TELLURIDE, this will be free of any cost to you we will need the car for about 2-4 days and our end goal is to equip your car with our intake system! And we'll provide a rental car for you.

If I were in his area, I'd be in there in a minute...

But, what Bryan is talking about is fitting an entire intake system; when most of us are simply looking for the K&N replacement filter than fits in the stock housing. @Sleao, since you seem to have his ear - perhaps you can poke at him about when the replacement filter will be available...
