Has anyone had their windshield wiper swipe after starting up on a perfectly clear, dry day?

Has anyone had their windshield wiper swipe after starting up on a perfectly clear, dry day?

It may do that as a self-check of the system, or it may also do that when there are sharp changes in light or dust hitting the sensor.

Best practice is to turn the wiper system off when it is not raining or possibly going to rain.

Totally Clear Sky....dry windshield....wiper comes on, take's 1 swipe then off.
