There is at least one add on adapter available - CarLinkIt 2.0. Reviews are mixed on Amazon, but the company is on the right track, as such a device should be universal to any make or model of car. Think I'll wait for version 3.0. It would be nice to put the phone on the wireless charger and get a complete and reliable emulation of the USB connection. Call me paranoid, but I had a Samsung with a USB connector that failed, and the rebuilt replacement wasn't water resistant - the less you use that connector, the longer it will last.

They also have a version for Android Auto.
