FWIW - I contacted the company yesterday with a list of questions:
*****
Have a 2020 Kia Telluride 3.6L AWD.
Saw a posting on an owners' forum for your GTE Stage 1 Performance Chip Module OBD2 device. An owner posted: 'after two weeks, throttle tip-in is smoother; but mpg is affected negatively, [dropped 3 MPG]'. He did not indicate how many miles and/or what driving conditions his conclusion was based on.
But, then saw your device on a review site that gave a generally favorable review. This site tested the device on a BMW, but did not detail much about their testing procedure.
Willing to try the device if it really does deliver a somewhat better mpg... but after a Telluride owner said it went the other way..........
Some questions:
- Was the device actually programmed/tested by you in a Telluride?
-- If not, how was it determined to be compatible with and functional in a Telluride?
- What kind of improvement should realistically be expected in mpg for this vehicle? (not as concerned about HP or TQ - any increase in those would be bonuses)
- Does the device show claimed improvements with mfg recommended regular unleaded (87 octane) fuel?
- Does the device have to be plugged into the OBD2 port at all times or will the ECU remember it’s reprogramming if removed?
- On that review site mentioned about, they posted an email reply they got from you that included the following sentence: "For instance, we implemented a 60 day money back guarantee for our performance chips" -- on your site today is this statement: "PerformanceChipTuning offers a 30-Day Guarantee."
-- Wondering why the guarantee was reduced back to 30 days?
--- Or is the 60 days still available.

Got their reply this morning...

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
We spoke to our software engineer team, and they don't recommend that engine model, they're currently working on more 2019 and 2020 car models to read the ECUs and provide fully, all the performance gains.
They're working with Hyundais and Kias, as well as several other models that are not getting results just yet on account that they're relatively new cars.
We want to be honest with our buyers, so we apologize if you were interested in our chips that aren't currently working with your car model.
Thank you

So, quick reply was good, but that was about it...
Not sure I agree with "We want to be honest with our buyers" when their website clearly directs you to a device when searching 2020 Kia Telluride and they did not answer any of the other questions.
My advice - return the device you have while you still can.
Perhaps in the future, if they really update for our T-Rides... if you can trust them when they say it's updated...
BTW - if you're interested in that other review site - today, it's coming up as a 'Server Error' - hmmm
...
Another review that was also favorable is
here, less complete than the one quoted from in my email to them...
