Anyone tried applying paint protection film (PPF) or wrap headlights?

I was looking to protect my headlights from the awful yellow/ hazing / cracking that plastic headlamp assemblies get as they age.
Can PPF be applied to the headlights or only painted surfaces?
Not sure that it would stick to such a small surface area

It *can be done. Mine are wrapped.
But it takes an expert. It's not typically something that would be done as the headlight shape makes it extremely difficult.

The guy who did the PPF on my car does very high-end custom work. He did it just to 'see if I could." He didn't really think it would work. It took a lot of heating and stretching. But I must say, I love it!
