I know, I just got confirmation of mine getting delivered on 8/28. Sxp nightfall gravity grey dune brown leather. Super disappointed about the silver badges. Local tint shop is going going black them out for me when I drop it off to get tinted. A lot of tint shops do extra small custom work like this. Check around, costs like $30 per badge.

I placed my order with the dealership on june 11th, they keep telling me that Kia hasn't "picked up the order yet", does anyone know how long this takes, the dealership tells me they have no way of knowing until the order is accepted by kia and put into system.
Any advice on how long I should wait for Kia to accept it or should I look at working with another dealership?

That's pretty appalling! That being said, I guess part of the process also depends on dealership. Cuz bigger the dealer, more the allocation. Again it's my assumption. I placed an order too on July 1!

I ordered on June 11th and got confirmation on June 18th that KIA had picked up the order. Original delivery was 9/14 and the dealer text me last Friday that it got moved up to 8/28 🤞

What was your color and trim selection? Odd ball selection my be the issue and or the fact that you aren't working with a great dealer. This is not an acceptable amount of time to wait. It should only take 2-3 weeks max for kia to pickup an order.

That's cool. So it seems that, usually after the deposit kia receives order within 10 days. That's pretty awesome! And once kia confirmed your order, how long it takes to get the VIN? Can you remember? Btw I live in Atlanta, GA. And telluride is only assembled at the west point GA plant.

Anyway i'm getting the nightfall pack to make it look like a nightfall. It will be a 2022 and i did ask the dealer whether the badging will be blacked out and he told me he wasnt sure BUT if it isn't they'll be blacking it out for me.

I ordered 2021 Telluride June 14/21. Said it would be 8 to 12 weeks. They called me 3 days later and said it would be in Edmonton within a month. They called me July 10th that it will be ready for pickup July 14th.
What a nice vehicle. Put on 1km already. Excellent ride. Got xpel plastic put on full hood quarter panels, front end, mirrrors, door caps,etc. Better than 3M that I had on last vehicle. Got it under coated and driver and passenger windows tinted to 50%. Was going to go to 35% but to dark for night driving and police ticketing.

Got factory hitch put on at Kia dealer. Checked around after market hitches. They look terrible and 4 inches lower. Factory one is only way to go. Check all Kia dealers. The pricing is all over the place.
Tinting picture before and after 50% tinting.
Cargo liner is a it pricey but custom fit.

I got Ming Auto Shine. to do it all. I even debaged hood so they did not have to cut around TELLURIDE letters. They said they can black out KIA badge on front and back.
You can take off letters on rear of vehicle also. Just plastic backing.

I ordered out of Fort Bend Kia (Houston) May 6, SXP+NF. They gave no indication when it’d show, I said is thanksgiving-Xmas time likely they wouldn’t even confirm that.

Called in mid June, said hey if it hasn’t been picked up my wife changed her mind from white to grey exterior. They never confirmed that could be done.

Car showed up unannounced at dealership 9/2 in grey. picked up today ! 😀
