I have a 23 telluride, we had a hitch put on to pull a trailer. Everytime we back up with the trailer the collision alert comes on, how do we turn that off?

Disconcerting, isn't it? As if backing a trailer up isn't hard enough, the sound of "eminent impact!" is a heck of a soundtrack:)

There's a "P!" button on the center console on my 2020 which is the parking warning light. Pressing it disables the parking assist. Not sure if it's the same on the '23.

I have a 24 SX-XPro and as long as I use the 'Tow' mode, it doesn't alert. Not sure if yours has that option.
