OK that's odd. Did you deactivate "Lane Following Assist" as well? I experienced the same issue you described when I drove mine for the first time. I thought the tires were bad and actually replaced them but still had the issue with new tires. I had tried deactivating the Lane Keeping by itself...

You need to get familiar with your "Lane Keeping Assist" feature (check your owner's manual). You can easily activate/deactivate as you desire.

The EPB will automatically engage when you shot off the vehicle. Not too much of a concern for me being in Texas, however there is a workaround. If you press and hold down on the EPB button and then turn off the engine it won't engage. Tried this on mine and the EPB was off when restarting the...

Fixed by my local Kia Dealership in about 30 minutes. Good to go!
