    Wireless Android Auto update

Because the system that’s in the Telluride, the 10.25” infotainment with navigation, does not have WiFi and thus does not support wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. Like I said, no large-screen Hyundai/Kia infotainment system offers this feature. This shortcoming is not unique to the Telluride...

    Wireless Android Auto update

That‘s accurate for the systems that support it. However, the Telluride does not have one of those systems. Many of these supplemental documents are meant to be used across the entire line of vehicles so they don’t have to reprint lots of slightly different pamphlets. So if it’s a book that...

    Wireless Android Auto update

No. No Telluride ever produced supports wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. In fact, no Hyundai or Kia with a 10.25” or larger infotainment system supports wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. Certain 2021+ Hyundai/Kia models with 8” non-navigation infotainment systems support wireless CarPlay and...

2020 Exterior Temperature Location 30 miles away

There is a persistent exterior temp display in your instrument cluster. That’s what the vehicle is reading. If you have an older version of the infotainment system, the weather display on the center screen is getting HD Radio weather data. Of course, that is not always going to be available...

    Carplay Display

Unplug phone. Go to setup > device connections > phone projection/CarPlay. Uncheck “use split screen.” Plug phone back in.

    Travel direction color

That’s the route color that you get if you have “show traffic colors” turned off. There isn’t any way to change it otherwise. If you want your route to be colored based on the traffic on your route (green, yellow, or red), you can turn that on in setup > nav > display > show traffic colors.

    Travel direction color

Maybe post a picture of what you’re seeing and referring to exactly, that’s probably easier to understand and assist with.

    Travel direction color

Are you using the 3D view? That will show a "sky." If you don't want that view, cycle to one of the other modes (2D north up or 2D heading up). You can easily cycle through the three by tapping the compass rose. If you want to change the actual map appearance, go to setup > nav > map > map...

    SX wheel size?

According to the manual, all Telluride alloy wheels are 7.5" wide. From the factory, they come with 245 mm width tires. (20" is 245/50/R20)

I keep crashing into my other car!!!

Out of curiosity, I tried to re-create your scenario tonight when I got home from work. I seriously don’t understand how this is a problem… if you push the start/stop button when you’re in gear, it won’t even turn the car fully off, it kicks it into accessory mode and beeps at you to tell you to...

I keep crashing into my other car!!!

Sounds like you need to trade in for a Palisade. Since that has an electronic shifter, any time you turn off the car, it automatically shifts to park. Or if you open the door with the car in gear, it’ll shift to park. Or, just put your Telluride in park before you turn it off and get out, like...

    Home Screen

It should usually go back to whatever you were using last when you start the car. But it doesn’t always. Fortunately, it isn’t that difficult to get your primary app back up and running with one of the hard buttons on the dash.
  13. J

    Home Screen

You can’t. New models (or older ones that have had their infotainment updated since late November 2020) will have a home screen that looks like this: That’s how it is. You of course can continue to use the rest of the infotainment system as always, with apps being full screen, or in split...

Finally got the beast! #2022 Telluride SX AWD

No, you can tell from the seats that this does not have the Prestige package. It is a regular SX AWD with the butterscotch interior.
  15. J

Does the 2022 SX AWD still come with the heated steering wheel?

You can only add the Prestige package on the SX if you have already added AWD. So in total, you’re looking at $4200 over a standard FWD SX to get the Prestige package.

Is This A Real 2022 Telluride Nightfall?

The first two pictures are a 2022 SX Nightfall that has had the Kia logos blacked out, and the “SX V6” added (no 2022s have a trim designation on the back). The second two pictures are a 2021 SX Nightfall (old logo).

    Color of interior lights

How you change them depends on what interior lights you’re talking about. The ambient light (SX only, strips on the dash and doors) is controlled via the infotainment system. You go to setup > vehicle > lights > ambient light. The interior light kit (accessory that can be added to any...

    Auto wiper

It may do that as a self-check of the system, or it may also do that when there are sharp changes in light or dust hitting the sensor. Best practice is to turn the wiper system off when it is not raining or possibly going to rain.

Anyone have the interior light kit- multicolored?

The accessory light kit will provide four LEDs to light up the cupholders and the front footwells. Here is what it looks like: The only thing seen in this picture that you won’t get is the strip on the dash/doors (that is an SX only feature).

Does the 2022 SX AWD still come with the heated steering wheel?

Add everything up. It’s at least $48,115, going up from there if you also added Nightfall, tow, a special color, dune brown seats, or any accessories.
