    Help!

If you’ll be going off-road, consider sticking with 18’s to have the added sidewall. My EX has 20’s and I’m running Falken Wildpeak tires, which are quiet and smooth.

Any company developing intakes for the Telluride?

Highly doubtful that there would be an ECU flash for the Telluride, but one would most certainly create potential warranty issues. Don’t expect any significant gains with a naturally aspirated V6, an the ECU flash is something that generally benefits turbo and engines.

Telluride on order, seems so long

I was lucky….very lucky…and found one in stock. Paid a premium to get it too. I can tell you that the wait will be worth it. It’s a wonderful vehicle.

City MPG a bit lower than advertised in my experience

Things that impact fuel mileage: - driver - location - weather - winter fuel blend - tire pressure (yeah, sometimes not correct at delivery) There really isn’t a “setting” for fuel economy, so it’s not as if the manufacturer could do anything about it. Frankly a full size SUV wouldn’t be...

Any way to completely disable ISG?

Module installed in less than 5 minutes. No more annoying stop-start and I don’t need to remember to press the button. Worth it.

Biggest surprise / impression upon delivery of your '22 Telluride?

I got lucky and found an unexpected delivery at a local dealer; EX Premium Nightfall. I hadn’t sat in one, let alone driven one. Less than a mile down the road….wow, gotta have it. The biggest surprise was how much I liked everything about this vehicle. It fit, drove extremely well, and it’s...

    Sell privately or Trade-In?

Likely any “perceived value” in the newer engine is offset (in the mind of perspective private buyers) by the fact that it had to be replaced in the first place. I don’t see it dropping in value appreciably in the next few months, so I’d say hang tight - especially since you need the vehicle...

Any way to completely disable ISG?

Well, since I dislike decals and remove all mine, that’s a hard no. I’m not suggesting everyone buy the stop start module, but if the “feature” of ISG annoys, then it’s just $100 to remedy it. I’m pretty sure you’re smart enough to know what I meant…..

Any way to completely disable ISG?

My AutoStop Eliminator arrives today. I already watched the install video and expect it to take less than 10 minutes. No modification to the vehicle, no warranty concerns, and the button remains usable. 100% win. I’ve had their products in the past and it’s absolutely worth the $100. I don’t...

    Sell privately or Trade-In?

Depends. If you are in a state that allows a sales tax credit for the amount of trade in, then that is a factor. I know a California does not have this. Do you need the Sorento as a daily driver until the Telluride arrives? If so, you’ll need to consider value offered at trade in time versus...

    Replacing headliner

I’m sure they made it worse by breaking some of the plastic tabs or clips, this is common on most modern vehicles. Replacing the entire headliner seems a good move and likely solution, since it will be all new tabs and clips. Best of luck.
