My first Kia had a Hyundai Santa Fe Ltd previously and it was great suv had no problems with it gave it to my daughter . Didn't like the front look of the Palisade. But I do miss my Hyundai dealer they were honest and good to me. Hope Kia backs their product like Hyundai.

My opinion is that they are pushing them out to quickly and ignoring the final inspection. The demands are outpacing the capability of manufacturing. Some models are on back order for 3 months.

I can assure you that the Land Rover is better assembled than the Telluride. My daughter has the Discovery therefore I was able to compare the fit and finish of both.

Just about everything screwed into plastic. Over tighten or not tighten at all. Quality of the plastic as well is questionable.

Very poor assembly finding many loose parts after 3 months ownership. Possibly will sell it at big loss in a few year.

I use lucas gas & injector treatment every 2nd tank fill up. This will help to keep injectors clean but won't do nothing in preventing carbon buildup on the valves of a DGI engine. I've use this product for my 2008 santa fe worked well. This will also help the fuel pump as it lubricates it.

My dealership charges a flat fee of $150 incl. Cleaner solution and taxes. Like you my concern was with the DGI engine. The maintenance suggested in my previous reply was recommended to me by several mechanics and assured me that would prolong the life of the motor.
