I'd question the dealer and ask to seek the official Kia documentation. I'd assume if the order is in the pipeline and is going to be manufactured that the dealer may be trying to divert the unit into their inventory where they could try to sell it at higher mark up. One other poster (not sure...

I’m sorry. I know what it feels like to be the only kid left in the playground. I’m sure there were many factors involved in the selection process. A major one being proximity to Kia HQ. Their office is 10 min away from mine in Irvine.

I definitely plan on telling them that the WORSE part of acquiring my Telluride was the dealer experience and that I encourage corporate to read the forums. Will be interesting if they focus more on the vehicle or the total end-to-end purchase process.
