That's why they give choices... just wish they would have given choices on some other settings like Auto Hold and Cruise - I would like to have those both default to always selected, rather than having to remember to hit the button every time. Hoping it'll eventually become habit - push start...

Ouch... but self-inflicted I'm guessing. Too bad they don't have cliff-sensors like Roomba's do to prevent falling down the stairs o_O

Actually, I did something like this on my '12 Escape... Ran a wire from the fuse block from a circuit that was only energized with the ignition on; thru a switch I put in the dash; to a relay - so this switched wire controlled the relay. Wired the relay to the battery and then to extra OEM...
