    Auto Door lock

If you have it set for (steering wheel menu) > User Settings > Convenience > Welcome Mirror/Light > on However, it does not automatically unlock the door - you have to touch the button on the handle - once to unlock driver's door, twice to unlock all 4 doors. To lock, you have to touch the...

No confidence in Kia Telluride for Towing

I'm with @Gywn on this part... the onus is on the car mfg to prove an aftermarket part is the cause of a failure, not on the car owner to prove the aftermarket part didn't cause the failure. The aftermarket part is innocent until proven guilty...;) As far as the towing - haven't hooked up my...

Campaign for K&N and AEM Air Filters

If I were in his area, I'd be in there in a minute... But, what Bryan is talking about is fitting an entire intake system; when most of us are simply looking for the K&N replacement filter than fits in the stock housing. @Sleao, since you seem to have his ear - perhaps you can poke at him...

    Kia Telluride Owner's Manual

Couple of new Telluride Service Bulletins coming

Assuming you know your VIN... from your registration or the drivers door jam sticker... Deciphering which services are required? If you read thru the various communications, most list a production range date (your production date is also on the door jam sticker) - that should help narrow down...

    Rear Wiper Fluid

On another T-ride forum - many are reporting the issue. One said they were told by a dealer that it is caused by the check valve in the line being too far upstream from the nozzle - so what leaks out is the fluid in the line from the check valve to the nozzle after you stop spraying. Also...

Couple of new Telluride Service Bulletins coming

For many of the dealer communications (TSB, PitStop, Customer Satisfaction, Tech Tip) see: https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2020/KIA/TELLURIDE/SUV/AWD#manufacturerCommunications There are currently 18 listed on the site - but, really, only 15 as 3 are duplicates FWIW

    Reverse Lights Upgrade

I like it... imagine it helps with the back-up camera vision too... Where/how did you access the reverse light circuit?

    Gas Mileage

Didn't do the manual calc on the recent 750 trip, but previously (as noted in an above post) the difference I found between manual calc and the dash display was only about .5 MPG. Be interesting if others did the comparison and shared the results...

    Gas Mileage

Just completed r/t N IL to MN - 700+ miles... 30-40 mph winds on the entire trip there, w/3 people and luggage, 75 mph most of the time, smart mode, 22 mpg. Home was snow half way (which froze over the radar sensors, so no cruise control for that half), just me, 75 mph, smart mode, 26.5 mph...

Will the palisade side step fit the telluride?

Some say yes, others say no. Best to contact the seller - they're the only ones to know for sure.

    Petition to make UVO Free

Unfortunately, I agree with you... but, worth a try. Canada gets it free for longer, so why not us.

    Petition to make UVO Free

A member of another Telluride forum started a petition to try to convince Kia to make UVO free. It's worth a shot, so sign on the petition - it's been brought to the attention of Michele Cameron, Executive Director, Consumer Affairs & Warranty Operations, Kia Motors America, Inc. With enough...

KIA issues goodwill repair for windshield issues

It's the roof pillars, door frames and roof that determines structural Integrity - glass is disposable in the context of a roll over... Attached for anyone interested is a clean copy of the windshield letter if you want to download - not included is the request for reimbursement form that was...

    Telluride towing package owners

I believe it's like my (gasp) minivan of the past... it's a plate under the spare wheel, (close up of a pic from earlier in this thread) connected to a cable that's lowered by accessing a bolt head inside the hatch which uncoils (for lowering) or coils (for raising the wheel). The cable on...

Auto hold sound from D to R?

Page 5-43 of manual Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) A vehicle has the tendency to roll back on a steep hill when it starts to go after stopping. The Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) prevents the vehicle from rolling back by applying the brakes automatically for about 2 seconds. The brakes are...

9005 LED Night Shots of Zdatt/Sealight/TIANFUYAO

Not sure what 'non-polarity option' actually means in this application since the connector is going to be only a one way fit... Thought I had posted the link to the specific SBL bulb I recommend...

9005 LED Night Shots of Zdatt/Sealight/TIANFUYAO

I used superbrightleds.com in my Escape. They were designed to have the placement of the LEDs mimic the filaments in the halogen bulbs and come with a lifetime warranty... the pattern was perfect duplication of halogen with the bright white light that provided much better vision. Link to 9005...
