The owner of my dealership was very excited that I had made the swap. If you have a decent dealer ship and don’t mind buying a hour of labor I’m sure they’d do it. It really is easy though

Can you verify that the factory badge needs removed to install this? For anyone thinking of using the K5 Optima steering wheel badge, the factory badge must be removed and if you remove it from the front of the steering wheel with out disassembling the steering wheel/airbag you will destroy...

Any new car can dip 20% the day it goes off the lot, more if its marked up of course. I hope that it keeps its value like a truck would. Ive never owned kia prior to this and I hope to expect high resale much like a Toyota 4runner/Tacoma. Fingers crossed.

when the center section of the bumper is removed, the trim piece will replace it with a nice "trim" filler that cleans up the open area.

I just called my dealer again ( they have to hate me by now ) and the nice parts lady told me that she is still expecting them by April 1st. The issue she said was that the Part number showed available, so she placed the order... then the part number became "unavailable"... and she was told...

normal add on/bolt on stuff will show its head the next year or so. headers/exhaust, turbo kits, perhaps a super charger? I know at a cold idle it has a good sound... in neutral with a light rev it sounds like shit. But I am getting 25+ mpg.. if I want exhaust noise i'll buy a v8.

I have had/built several bagged trucks the last 20 years. I will be lowering mine a few inches and perhaps adding air suspension in the future. Ive honestly fallen in love with the good ride it has now and think it might be a shame to alter it.
