I'm thinking you have to get something like that from the dealer. There's a hole on the side of the door that allows you to pop off the handles.

That looks great but too expensive to chance it, have you tried contacting them? There are also some universal running boards on ebay that will fit the Telluride, otherwise the OEM looks the best.
