I am testing HID now, but may eventually go back to LED.

I don't know, but my guess is that the OEM has to follow the worse case VLT for the type of vehicle and location of glass. Your local tint shop should be able to answer all your questions to stay legal.

You mean like this That does look better, but the sunroof will hit the lights. Also it won't be practical to move way forward and still use it as a roof rack. The reason I was contemplating this is because Thule bar can use "T" bolts to mount thing on top of the rack.

I went out and drove with the WingBar to see how much noise the cross bar added. Noise is very subjective, and since I can not do a double blind test, it is difficult to say definitively that it got louder. I can definitely say that it doesn't whistle and any noise from the rack is not too...

Why don't you just get darker tint for that price. I got 5% tint so you can't see anything inside.

The WingBars are suppose to be aerodynamic and quiet as long as you install the rubber strips in all the gaps. I haven't driven it yet today, I'll let you know when I do.

I am not familiar with the Thule roof box mount. I was a Yakima owner and as such I have a Yakima Cargo Box. My Yakima has a built-in clamp and that worked with my 4Runner roof rack so it should work with this Thule. If your cargo box has clamp they should work as well. If it is bolted on...

Comparing retail to retail price, the Thule is not that much more expensive. The only piece you'll have to pay retail for the Thule would be the Fit Kit. The bars and feet can be found discounted. Also, according to the Telluride owners manual (4-172), the roof rack can support up to 220 lbs...

Here are the fully installed pictures. The rear bar looks a little further up, but it is spaced so that a Yakima SkyBox 18 cargo case will clear the hatch when mounted on the cross bar. Lastly, here is the clearance between the Sunroof and the Bar. It's between 1"-2" clearance.

Are you asking if it's the KIA cross bar? If s, no...this is not the KIA cross bar. It's an after market cross bar.

It should be done like the video, not the picture. The exhaust output will be uneven if you tap it after the muffler. Might as well just install the exhaust tip only to save money!
