Button by the sunroof (drivers area)

You need to look at the UVO Systems Owners Manual.

    Extras that really are EXTRA!!!!

Yeah, it was slow for me as well. When I had the complimentary UVO it took ~30-45 seconds. I mostly used UVO for remote start, so $300/year it isn't worth it....They should have an ala cart option for $2.95/month for remote start! Since they don't, I'll just end up getting a regular regular...

    Forward collision warning

That warning indicates that your FCA is OFF. If FCA is Activated and you still see the warning you need to take it to the dealers. Assuming the FCA system is ON and you still get the warning, the dealer has to not only check the camera but also check the front RADAR since it uses both the...

    Extras that really are EXTRA!!!!

But you knew that right? It's been posted on this forum since last year. Yup it sucks, I understand. I'm in the same boat since April because I didn't renew UVO cause it's a rip off. I read some people received discounted offers, but nothing for me.... Proximity to the KT has nothing to do...

    Thule Cross Bar Installed

Not sure I understand what you are saying. Did you end up getting a longer square bar? Why would you need to "drill and clean up the opening to get the longer length" you want? Doesn't the Thule 460R Podium Foot Pack accommodate any of their bar system and lengths without you having to drill...

Order placed and now 6-8 months anticipation

I believe Kia stopped producing 2020 models and any new orders will be filled with 2021 models, especially 6-8 months from now.

You’ll have to also activate it to use it. Once activated you cannot deactivate UVO service, even if you decide not to get the paid subscription after the free trial expires. Most of the UVO capabilities will be locked at the point except for a couple of basic functions.

Speedometer slow by 2 or 3 mph.

Not an issue, it’s by design. It also depends on the condition of your tires since speed is calculated by measuring the number of rotations over time. On a positive note, you’ll probably get pulled over less often. "Speedometers are designed to never show speeds lower than actual speed."...

    My Telluride FINALLY came home!

Congratulations! Pearl white is nice... Compared to others, 3 months doesn't seem so bad...

Engine Overheated - anyone else experience this warning message?

You shouldn't drive it when it's over heating! You need to cal KIA roadside assistance and have it towed.

    Key FOB Remote Start Petition

Given that all 2021 will come standard with remote start on the key FOB, KIA obviously came to a conclusion that this was a huge oversight on their part. Go and sign the online petition to encourage KIA to correct this oversight for early adopters...

    Simplest 7-Pin Trailer Connector Conversion

I don't think that'll be possible since you will still have to run at least two wires from the front of the KT to the back. There are no existing wires in the 2020 model. You'll need to run +12VDC from the battery and another wire from the brake controller (unless you used the wireless variety).

    Simplest 7-Pin Trailer Connector Conversion

This is basically how the 7 pin plug that came with my trailer hitch is wired. You will need the tow hitch harness listed below so you don't have to splice any of the wires. The wiring hitch harness also appears to protect the KT electrical system (according to the second link below)...

    Thule Cross Bar Installed

60" is not as wide as I had thought! It looks good! Here is a side by side comparison. 53" on the left and 60" on the right.

Does anyone know when the front alloy skid plate will be available?

Nice, but I wonder how much of a pia it will be to change the oil filter. Maybe the skid plate will be different from the standard plastic covering which requires you to remove it to access the oil filter.

    New Researcher

Yeah I tried resetting, at least the rear hatch, but that didn't solve the issue. I did change the old battery with a standard battery. Maybe I should have looked into a higher AMP battery. Yup, suck that the SX doesn't have bench seat option, otherwise, I would have purchased the SX. I...

    New Researcher

My wife has a 2015 Outback. She literally just drives it to and from work. I have a KT EX. She and the entire family loves the KT. It is significantly bigger than the outback. The rear cargo area is bigger than the Ascent and KT's seat fold nearly flat (bench seats). The Ascent's seats...

    Thule Cross Bar Installed

Wow the interesting that you found a solution for LX owners. Regarding the Jet Stream 60" cross bar, I think it'll be too wide. Even the 53" has a slight overhang as you can see from the pictures bur I guess it's all matter of taste.

Roof Rack for a 2020 Telluride LX

Thanks to @Ike1988, it looks like he found a Yakima solution that solves the problem for the LX. It looks like roof rails are not required! https://www.etrailer.com/Roof-Rack/Yakima/Y00146.html https://www.etrailer.com/question-387624.html
