Transmission temp monitoring with ODBII scaner

I would like to monitor my transmission temperature while towing. Is it possible to use an bluetooth ODBII scanner connected to an app on my iphone and use Apple Carplay in the 2025 Telluride to display the transmission and torque converter temperatures. Ultimately, I would like to display Google Maps, Spotify, and the 2 ODBII temperatures at the same time through Apple Carplay.
If this will work are there any recommendations for an OBDII scanner that will do this?
