We just purchased our new Telluride to share occasional towing duties with our 2014 Tundra (4.6) and 1996 T-100 (3.4), we traded in a 2018 Subaru Outback Ltd.
I was attracted to the 5500lb towing capacity, cargo capacity, hitch assy with RV 7 way plug and the18" all terrain tires on the EX X-Pro.
We'll be towing a small fiberglass trailer (Casita 3200lb loaded). It came with the receiver hitch and controller pigtail for a plug and play install of a Redarc Liberty brake controller.
Thinking about a ScanGauge2 to keep an eye on the tranny and engine temps, but will stay away from the mountains with it until we see how it performs and it's well broken in.
Looks like the forum has a wealth of information on towing trailers with the Telluride.
